How it Works
Once you have registered, you will need to buy credits. Each credit cost £1.00 and it costs 1 credit to place a bid.
When you place a bid, you are aiming not to be the highest bidder as this is a reverse auction, to win the auction all you need to do is place the lowest unique bid.
For example:
Customer A places a bid at 5p
Customer A places a bid at 6p
Customer A places a bid at 8p
Customer A places a bid at 9p
Customer B places a bid at 4p
Customer C places a bid at 4p
Customer D places a bid at 8p
Customer E places a bid at 5p
Customer F places a bid at £1
Etc
After the auction has closed customer A is the winner, as their bid of 6p is the lowest unique bid. Customers B and C placed a lower bid of 4p but these were not unique bids so do not win. Customer E placed a bid for 5p but this had also been bidded by Customer A, so again, this bid did not win.
For example:
Customer A places a bid at 5p
Customer A places a bid at 6p
Customer A places a bid at 8p
Customer A places a bid at 9p
Customer B places a bid at 4p
Customer C places a bid at 4p
Customer D places a bid at 8p
Customer E places a bid at 5p
Customer F places a bid at £1
Etc
After the auction has closed customer A is the winner, as their bid of 6p is the lowest unique bid. Customers B and C placed a lower bid of 4p but these were not unique bids so do not win. Customer E placed a bid for 5p but this had also been bidded by Customer A, so again, this bid did not win.
Once the auction is finished, Customer A would send us 6p to purchase the item. This means they have won the item for £4.06 as they paid 6p for the item and placed 4 bids costing them £4.00
Please note, the above bids are shown as examples, but in real auctions this information is hidden from you, so you have to use your skill and judgement to work out the lowest bid that nobody else has bidded.
Once an auction closes, we will notify the winner. If you win the item you pay the cost of the item via paypal and we send the item to you within 14 days.
